Principal

Cathedral School is a Catholic, Christ-centered urban parish elementary school. The Sisters of St. Joseph established the school in 1928 in the Diocese of Allentown, Pennsylvania. This co-educational program encompasses a pre-school for three, four, and five year olds, a full day kindergarten, grades one through eight, and a morning and afternoon extended care program. Our school embraces and fosters the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical, personal, and social developments of each child through a variety of teaching strategies and learning modalities with an emphasis on each child’s learning needs and abilities.
We strive to achieve commitment to Christian values, academic excellence, and accountability and responsibility in each of our students, so that each student reaches his/her full potential. We devote every effort to instill upon the children of Cathedral School, the value of knowledge, wisdom, and the formation of being a living witness of Christ throughout their lives.
Cathedral School is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The school surpasses the Pennsylvania state requirement of 990 instructional hours and meets the Diocese of Allentown requirement of 1001 hours per school year.
